International Symposium of the Collaborative Research Centre 973
The 1st International Symposium of the Collaborative Research Centre 973 on "Priming and Memory of Organismic Responses to Stress" took place on November 24, 2012, at the Lecture Hall of the Botanical Garden und Museum in Berlin. The detailed programme is presented here. The symposium was open to the public (radio interview and announcement).
The CRC invited 8 international guest scientists who presented their current research and discussed it with the CRC. Thereafter, PhD students and post docs of the CRC had further vivid scientific discussion with the guests; the discussion forum was organized and moderated by the students themselves. In the evening, the kick-off event was closed by a dinner in Gutshaus Steglitz where all enjoyed a cool drink, delicious food and grooving music. You will find photos of the kick-off meeting here.
