DCPS Open House Day (DCPS=Dahlem Centre of Plant Sciences)

The first DCPS Day took place in the afternoon of June 6, 2013 at the lecture hall of Botanic Garden and Botanical Museum in Berlin. DCPS research groups presented lectures and information about their current studies. The afternoon was highlighted by the first DCPS Science Slam and closed by a barbecue.

FU Girls' Day

Every year in April technical enterprises, enterprises with technical departments and technical training facilities, universities, and research centres are invited to organise an open day for girls. On the occasion of this nation-wide Girls' Day 2013, members of CRC 973 invited girls and young females to learn more about insects and plants. Participants could explore our laboratories and experimental facilities as well as current research projects by attending the following to workshops.
